Not Just A Vessel

Not Just a Vessel is a piece within body modification collection of works. This work encompasses more than just the normalization of body modification but the normalization of bodies as a whole. It brings attention to the beauty that should be admired within our bodies. In alinement with the LGBTQ + community this work expresses and causes questions of the sense of self being more than a persons sexual organs and their properties. Not Just a Vessel brings attention to the prescribed role in society many women are thought to play. Bodies do not exist solely for the purpose of reproduction and are more then their sexual organs.
